Let me think is a flexible Project which adapts to the real learning circumstances of our students. It is a project integrated in the learning environment, in the reality of our classrooms, which intends to be another learning strategy in our students’ syllabus. 90% of the project will be carried out during the school timetable to avoid it being an overload for our students’ tasks.

We focus our activities on an interdisciplinary task, incorporating contents of the project to the different subjects of the curriculum in our project so that they can be assessed. In this way, we have increased the advantages of each of them; we have promoted a critical attitude and the knowledge of current topics; we have favoured empathy; we have fostered debate and the active role of students. The design of the activities involved in the project pursues a collaborative framework between teachers of different areas in the same school as well as in the different schools that participate in LET ME THINK. For the teachers that participate in this project, it has meant to know a new way of team work that enriches the relations between colleagues, fosters an innovative spirit and favours creativity, and also to see common objectives. With that aim, we will carry out face-to-face meetings (among teachers in the same school and the coordinator in this school) as well as virtual meetings (between the coordinators of the project) to specify the objectives and the contents of the activities to be carried out.

This interdisciplinary work involves the integration of ALL the COMPETENCES of the curriculum:

  • Linguistic competence

  • Mathematic competence and basic competences in science and technology

  • Digital competence

  • Learning to learn

  • Social and civic competences

  • Cultural awareness and expression

In the following table we can look at the different competences that will be carried out in the activities of our project.
